Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.15% or 0.1650 points to trade at 5.4100 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.01% or 0.25 points to end at 12.69 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 0.84% or 0.034 points to 4.088 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which fell 1.61% or 0.47 points to trade at 28.77 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 1.18% or 0.44 points to end at 36.97 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 1.16% or 0.33 points to 28.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 102 to 82 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Valmt (HE:VALMT) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.01% or 0.25 to 12.69.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 0.79 to $47.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.47% or 1.09 to hit $45.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.23% or 3.10 to trade at $1331.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.04% to 1.1151, while EUR/GBP fell 0.31% to 0.8374.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 95.74.
