Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 2.15% or 0.64 points to trade at 30.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.57% or 0.37 points to end at 23.87 and TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) was up 1.05% or 0.048 points to 4.638 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 3.49% or 0.1340 points to trade at 3.7020 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.45% or 0.130 points to end at 8.815 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) was down 1.36% or 0.14 points to 9.77.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 87 to 85 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.44% or 0.18 to $41.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.68% or 0.28 to hit $41.42 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.76% or 9.50 to trade at $1244.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.20% to 1.1246, while EUR/GBP rose 0.28% to 0.7810.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 95.32.
