Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.53% or 0.40 points to trade at 26.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) added 1.26% or 0.39 points to end at 31.27 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.87% or 0.080 points to 9.255 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 5.62% or 0.1680 points to trade at 2.8220 at the close. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 3.71% or 0.152 points to end at 3.948 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was down 2.05% or 0.54 points to 25.79.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 101 to 75 and 9 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.02% or 0.47 to $44.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 2.53% or 1.09 to hit $41.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.32% or 14.10 to trade at $1055.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.10% to 1.0600, while EUR/GBP rose 0.33% to 0.7050.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 100.08.
