Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which rose 3.21% or 0.94 points to trade at 30.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 0.84% or 0.31 points to end at 37.03 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.80% or 0.33 points to 41.38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which fell 1.74% or 0.12 points to trade at 6.49 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 0.93% or 0.0500 points to end at 5.3150 and Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) was down 0.74% or 0.10 points to 13.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 108 to 71 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.21% or 0.94 to 30.25. Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) rose to all time highs; up 0.80% or 0.33 to 41.38.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.20% or 0.09 to $45.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.30% or 0.13 to hit $43.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1318.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.06% to 1.1168, while EUR/GBP rose 0.26% to 0.8600.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 95.90.
