Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 3.17% or 0.88 points to trade at 28.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.41% or 0.0780 points to end at 3.3200 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.60% or 0.130 points to 8.265 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 7.19% or 0.360 points to trade at 4.650 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 1.72% or 0.19 points to end at 10.83 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) was down 0.50% or 0.16 points to 32.12.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 83 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.19% or 0.360 to 4.650.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 3.90% or 1.70 to $45.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 2.49% or 1.08 to hit $44.52 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.65 to trade at $1261.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.03% to 1.1385, while EUR/GBP fell 0.24% to 0.7880.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 94.17.
