Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 1.35% or 0.105 points to trade at 7.870 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.18% or 0.45 points to end at 38.55 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 1.14% or 0.0520 points to 4.5960 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V), which fell 1.96% or 0.46 points to trade at 23.01 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.33% or 0.42 points to end at 31.13 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was down 0.95% or 0.37 points to 38.62.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 100 to 69 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) rose to all time highs; rising 1.18% or 0.45 to 38.55.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.64% or 0.78 to $46.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.65% or 0.77 to hit $45.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1328.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.40% to 1.1073, while EUR/GBP fell 0.23% to 0.8348.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.56.
