Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 1.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.84% or 0.1620 points to trade at 3.5120 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 3.65% or 0.21 points to end at 6.10 and Metso Oyj (HE:MEO1V) was up 3.07% or 0.61 points to 20.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which fell 0.79% or 0.18 points to trade at 22.53 at the close. Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V) added 0.09% or 0.01 points to end at 10.70 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM1V) was up 0.60% or 0.10 points to 16.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 125 to 48 and 14 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $48.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $48.60 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1251.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1210, while EUR/GBP rose 0.77% to 0.7727.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 95.42.
