Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HEL:NESTE), which rose 3.21% or 0.76 points to trade at 24.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HEL:AMEAS) added 2.47% or 0.62 points to end at 25.70 and Kemira Oyj (HEL:KRA1V) was up 2.33% or 0.24 points to 10.53 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tieto Oyj (HEL:TIE1V), which fell 1.33% or 0.29 points to trade at 21.54 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HEL:NOK1V) declined 0.49% or 0.030 points to end at 6.120 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HEL:HUH1V) was down 0.31% or 0.09 points to 28.71.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 86 to 77 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HEL:AMEAS) rose to all time highs; rising 2.47% or 0.62 to 25.70.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.89% or 0.52 to $58.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.48% or 0.77 to hit $52.97 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1154.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1011, while EUR/GBP fell 0.53% to 0.7066.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.82.
