Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.67% or 0.1950 points to trade at 5.5100 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 2.65% or 0.106 points to end at 4.106 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was up 1.55% or 0.62 points to 40.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 0.58% or 0.16 points to trade at 27.30 at the close. Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) declined 0.46% or 0.14 points to end at 30.11 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was down 0.40% or 0.16 points to 39.93.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 86 and 9 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.83% or 0.84 to $46.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.41% or 1.06 to hit $45.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.95% or 12.55 to trade at $1330.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.08% to 1.1160, while EUR/GBP rose 0.20% to 0.8601.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 95.76.
