Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.25% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV), which rose 7.27% or 2.15 points to trade at 31.74 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 4.29% or 0.21 points to end at 5.13 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 3.89% or 0.132 points to 3.528 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.72% or 0.45 points to trade at 25.70 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) declined 1.50% or 0.54 points to end at 35.42 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 0.94% or 0.32 points to 33.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 71 and 7 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $43.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.11% or 0.45 to hit $40.22 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.20 to trade at $1067.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.0639, while EUR/GBP fell 0.06% to 0.6992.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 99.80.
