Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.94% or 0.0640 points to trade at 3.3700 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 1.76% or 0.080 points to end at 4.632 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 1.63% or 0.49 points to 30.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which fell 2.93% or 0.215 points to trade at 7.135 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.48% or 0.49 points to end at 32.58 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was down 1.31% or 0.07 points to 5.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 94 to 78 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.75% or 0.36 to $47.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 1.26% or 0.59 to hit $46.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1271.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.74% to 1.1292, while EUR/GBP rose 0.20% to 0.7861.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.67% at 94.74.
