Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 0.89% or 3.1 points to trade at 345.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) fell 1.09% or 2.6 points to end at 236.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.70% or 7.2 points to 417.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 6.89% or 65.5 points to trade at 884.5 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 6.55% or 18.0 points to end at 257.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 6.51% or 16.7 points to 240.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 144 to 14 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.81% or 2.41 to $47.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 4.83% or 2.46 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 4.48% or 56.55 to trade at $1319.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 2.23% to 6.6842, while EUR/DKK fell 0.12% to 7.4348.
The US Dollar Index was up 2.37% at 95.54.
