Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 0.42% or 0.5 points to trade at 119.7 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) fell 0.53% or 3.0 points to end at 558.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.71% or 2.7 points to 379.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which fell 3.33% or 12.6 points to trade at 365.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) declined 3.16% or 11.1 points to end at 339.9 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 2.85% or 8.3 points to 283.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 34 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.24% or 1.52 to $45.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.87% or 0.92 to hit $48.01 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.71% or 8.00 to trade at $1124.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.58% to 6.7052, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4584.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 96.48.
