Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 0.48% or 1.2 points to trade at 250.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) fell 0.92% or 1.9 points to end at 204.1 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 1.10% or 3.7 points to 331.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 3.87% or 1.63 points to trade at 40.46 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 3.43% or 20.5 points to end at 577.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 2.87% or 10.6 points to 358.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 120 to 26 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 7.80% or 3.84 to $45.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 8.66% or 4.69 to hit $49.46 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.64% or 7.20 to trade at $1139.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.74% to 6.6087, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4636.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.52% at 95.46.
