Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.83% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 0.38% or 1.00 points to trade at 265.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell 0.50% or 1.2 points to end at 241.2 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.55% or 0.7 points to 125.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 5.84% or 51.5 points to trade at 830.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 4.83% or 54.0 points to end at 1064.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 3.17% or 10.4 points to 318.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 118 to 33 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.83% or 0.39 to $46.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.07% or 0.52 to hit $48.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.21% or 15.40 to trade at $1288.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.66% to 6.7294, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4393.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 97.77.
