Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which rose 0.45% or 2.0 points to trade at 443.5 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (COP:ISS) added 0.18% or 0.40 points to end at 221.70 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was down 0.48% or 2.5 points to 519.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 3.36% or 20.0 points to trade at 575.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) declined 2.76% or 5.6 points to end at 197.6 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 2.50% or 8.2 points to 320.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 130 to 33 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.00% or 1.19 to $58.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.19% or 1.39 to hit $61.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.40% or 4.70 to trade at $1177.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6668, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4607.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 95.27.
