Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.58% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.41% or 5.8 points to trade at 246.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.41% or 8.5 points to end at 612.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.00% or 0.70 points to 70.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 9.14% or 47.4 points to trade at 471.1 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.26% or 210 points to end at 9070 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 2.21% or 215 points to 9535.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 51 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.53% or 0.24 to $45.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $46.19 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1278.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.7499, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 97.90.
