Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 2.46% or 220 points to trade at 9180 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.44% or 225 points to end at 9455 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.06% or 2.9 points to 276.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which fell 3.17% or 14.3 points to trade at 436.6 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 2.79% or 19.5 points to end at 679.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 2.66% or 23.0 points to 843.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 50 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.02% or 0.86 to $43.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.04% or 0.90 to hit $44.93 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1255.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.5697, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4412.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 94.28.
