Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which rose 1.68% or 2.3 points to trade at 139.6 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 0.46% or 1.4 points to end at 308.3 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was up 0.19% or 0.6 points to 309.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which fell 4.70% or 30.0 points to trade at 608.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 3.26% or 23.0 points to end at 682.0 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was down 1.79% or 1.55 points to 85.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 51 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.28% or 1.35 to $60.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.59% or 1.70 to hit $67.32 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.88% or 10.40 to trade at $1193.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.85% to 6.6339, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4630.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.74% at 94.41.
