Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.07% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 3.49% or 11.0 points to trade at 325.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.91% or 6.5 points to end at 720.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.19% or 0.6 points to 321.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which fell 3.59% or 19.0 points to trade at 510.0 at the close. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) declined 3.04% or 9.6 points to end at 306.4 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was down 2.15% or 11.5 points to 522.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 114 to 43 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.49% or 11.0 to 325.9.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.23% or 0.74 to $61.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.82% or 0.56 to hit $68.08 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.10 to trade at $1189.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.27% to 6.5877, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4665.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.05% at 94.27.
