Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.02% or 0.1 points to trade at 472.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell 0.13% or 0.4 points to end at 302.6 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.30% or 0.4 points to 134.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 3.40% or 1.10 points to trade at 31.30 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.58% or 30.0 points to end at 1131.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.55% or 6.1 points to 233.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 139 to 20 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.59% or 0.29 to $48.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.55% or 0.28 to hit $50.26 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.90% or 11.45 to trade at $1287.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.5915, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4350.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 94.45.
