Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 3.13% or 3.8 points to trade at 125.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.11% or 0.65 points to end at 59.35 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 0.74% or 1.0 points to 135.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.69% or 42.0 points to trade at 854.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.52% or 0.54 points to end at 34.95 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.43% or 7.5 points to 517.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 67 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.63% or 1.16 to $43.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.32% or 1.07 to hit $45.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 3.35 to trade at $1328.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.7735, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4396.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 97.37.
