Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 6.71% or 625 points to trade at 9935 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 5.89% or 525 points to end at 9440 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.85% or 2.6 points to 309.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 6.83% or 2.44 points to trade at 33.28 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 2.93% or 17.5 points to end at 579.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 2.78% or 12.9 points to 450.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 44 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 4.35% or 2.15 to $51.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 4.75% or 2.46 to hit $54.30 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.55% or 6.45 to trade at $1167.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.36% to 7.0011, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.34% at 101.28.
