Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 0.72% or 4.5 points to trade at 633.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) added 0.53% or 3.0 points to end at 574.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was up 0.10% or 0.3 points to 292.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which fell 11.40% or 1870 points to trade at 14540 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 10.63% or 1680 points to end at 14130 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was down 1.78% or 9.5 points to 523.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 63 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.72% or 4.5 to 633.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.62% or 0.79 to $47.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.50% or 0.84 to hit $55.45 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1187.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.96% to 6.9627, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4718.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 98.75.
