Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.84% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.54% or 6.1 points to trade at 246.7 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.42% or 0.15 points to end at 35.91 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.07% or 0.5 points to 679.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 2.73% or 8.0 points to trade at 285.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.36% or 12.5 points to end at 517.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 2.36% or 6.7 points to 277.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.07% or 0.5 to 679.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.40% or 0.64 to $46.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.24% or 0.60 to hit $48.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.65 to trade at $1352.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.73% to 6.6044, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4412.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.77% at 94.84.
