Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which rose 0.89% or 7.5 points to trade at 851.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 0.45% or 3.0 points to end at 675.0 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was up 0.18% or 1.0 points to 562.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 3.60% or 19.5 points to trade at 522.5 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 3.41% or 480 points to end at 13580 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 3.18% or 460 points to 14010.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 74 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; rising 0.45% or 3.0 to 675.0. Shares in COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) rose to 3-years highs; rising 0.18% or 1.0 to 562.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.12% or 1.62 to $53.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.91% or 1.13 to hit $60.17 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.10 to trade at $1192.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.94% to 7.0041, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4690.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.81% at 98.93.
