Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.80% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.82% or 0.26 points to trade at 31.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.65% or 4.0 points to end at 618.5 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 0.64% or 0.8 points to 125.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 2.69% or 7.9 points to trade at 285.7 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.75% or 16.5 points to end at 925.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.70% or 14.5 points to 840.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 114 to 34 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.59% or 1.45 to $41.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 3.78% or 1.62 to hit $44.45 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1257.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.5380, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 94.08.
