Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 1.56% or 0.80 points to trade at 51.95 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) fell 0.09% or 0.5 points to end at 563.0 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was down 0.15% or 0.3 points to 198.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 2.21% or 7.5 points to trade at 331.6 at the close. DSV (COP:DSV) declined 1.74% or 4.1 points to end at 232.2 and Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) was down 1.70% or 10.5 points to 607.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 27 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.67% or 1.59 to $58.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.74% or 1.75 to hit $62.05 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.84% or 10.00 to trade at $1174.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.6090, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4601.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 95.26.
