Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 1.33% or 4.3 points to trade at 327.5 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.25% or 0.45 points to end at 36.36 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.96% or 2.50 points to 262.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 5.23% or 35.5 points to trade at 643.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.85% or 16.0 points to end at 847.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.76% or 155 points to 8675.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 34 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.57% or 0.28 to hit $49.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.90 to trade at $1350.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6061, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 94.91.
