Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which rose 1.47% or 1.9 points to trade at 131.5 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) added 1.43% or 8.0 points to end at 568.0 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 0.92% or 3.4 points to 373.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which fell 4.13% or 20.1 points to trade at 466.9 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) declined 2.97% or 1.02 points to end at 33.29 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 2.59% or 9.7 points to 364.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 75 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.97% or 1.02 to 33.29.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.56% or 1.70 to $49.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.56% or 1.82 to hit $53.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.50% or 5.70 to trade at $1143.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.40% to 6.6129, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4613.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.39.
