Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which rose 0.98% or 130 points to trade at 13390 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 0.93% or 120 points to end at 12960 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 0.29% or 2.0 points to 681.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which fell 1.41% or 4.6 points to trade at 321.6 at the close. COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) declined 1.18% or 6.0 points to end at 503.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 1.16% or 4.5 points to 384.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 67 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.83% or 1.10 to $61.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.35% or 0.88 to hit $65.75 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.40% or 4.70 to trade at $1193.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 2.14% to 6.6795, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4591.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.73% at 95.84.
