Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.67% or 5.2 points to trade at 316.7 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.65% or 11.0 points to end at 679.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.05% or 5.1 points to 492.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.67% or 12.4 points to trade at 452.6 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.41% or 220 points to end at 8920 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 2.09% or 185 points to 8665.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.57% or 1.18 to $44.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.00% or 1.42 to hit $45.95 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.95 to trade at $1293.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.58% to 6.4634, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4421.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 92.68.
