Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.03% or 1.4 points to trade at 137.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.89% or 11.0 points to end at 1241.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.25% or 0.8 points to 315.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 2.71% or 13.5 points to trade at 485.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.22% or 22.0 points to end at 969.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.68% or 140 points to 8175.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; rising 0.89% or 11.0 to 1241.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.51% or 0.25 to $48.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 2.51% or 30.45 to trade at $1243.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.61% to 6.5612, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4398.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.55% at 94.08.
