Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.40% or 295 points to trade at 8960 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.14% or 285 points to end at 9350 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 2.16% or 6.2 points to 293.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 3.25% or 38.0 points to trade at 1132.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.60% or 5.0 points to end at 307.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 1.55% or 3.8 points to 240.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.30% or 1.00 to $44.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.89% or 0.87 to hit $46.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.24% or 3.25 to trade at $1346.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.6609, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4400.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.63.
