Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 0.45% or 0.30 points to trade at 66.70 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 0.43% or 0.6 points to end at 138.7 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.30% or 1.5 points to 506.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.53% or 16.0 points to trade at 1029.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.23% or 10.0 points to end at 805.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 1.19% or 7.5 points to 623.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 69 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.82% or 1.74 to $47.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.65% or 1.75 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.65% or 8.75 to trade at $1340.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.6152, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4425.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.08.
