Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE), which rose 0.84% or 1.7 points to trade at 203.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.71% or 1.0 points to end at 141.7 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 0.71% or 2.4 points to 338.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which fell 1.17% or 4.4 points to trade at 372.6 at the close. DSV (COP:DSV) declined 0.85% or 1.9 points to end at 222.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was down 0.67% or 3.5 points to 522.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 65 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.15% or 0.09 to $59.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $63.28 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1172.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 6.6997, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 95.81.
