Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 2.30% or 205 points to trade at 9115 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.61% or 150 points to end at 9495 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.28% or 14.0 points to 1106.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which fell 1.87% or 2.6 points to trade at 136.1 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.91% or 0.55 points to end at 60.20 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.88% or 3.7 points to 416.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 66 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.10% or 0.05 to $48.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.35% or 0.18 to hit $50.71 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.68% or 9.25 to trade at $1347.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.5763, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 94.57.
