Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.33% or 8.3 points to trade at 257.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.16% or 4.2 points to end at 367.7 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 0.65% or 2.9 points to 445.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.04% or 36.5 points to trade at 867.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.30% or 5.90 points to end at 250.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.99% or 3.5 points to 172.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 61 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; rising 0.65% or 2.9 to 445.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.33% or 0.16 to $48.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.38% or 0.19 to hit $50.16 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.11% or 14.80 to trade at $1353.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6768, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 95.64.
