Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 3.62% or 8.5 points to trade at 243.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 1.43% or 170 points to end at 12050 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 1.23% or 1.7 points to 140.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which fell 1.38% or 11.0 points to trade at 788.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 1.08% or 6.5 points to end at 595.5 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was down 1.07% or 0.90 points to 83.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 73 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (COP:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 3.62% or 8.5 to 243.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.95% or 0.88 to $46.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.34% or 0.67 to hit $50.19 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.20% or 2.20 to trade at $1091.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.8128, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4619.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 97.55.
