Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.58% or 18.0 points to trade at 1160.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.40% or 3.7 points to end at 268.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.90% or 4.0 points to 450.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 0.77% or 4.0 points to trade at 516.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.74% or 0.9 points to end at 120.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.53% or 0.7 points to 132.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 72 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.76% or 0.35 to $45.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.38% or 0.18 to hit $46.78 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.33% or 4.45 to trade at $1333.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.54% to 6.7527, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4379.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.56% at 97.10.
