Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 5.00% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 10.68% or 49.8 points to trade at 516.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) added 10.36% or 34.7 points to end at 369.7 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was up 3.28% or 5.8 points to 182.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 1.85% or 5.8 points to trade at 308.2 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) declined 1.45% or 12.0 points to end at 817.0 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was down 1.30% or 0.65 points to 49.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 63 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.07% or 1.58 to $49.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.56% or 1.51 to hit $57.67 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.44% or 5.30 to trade at $1199.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.8482, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4687.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 97.52.
