Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.16% or 20.7 points to trade at 518.5 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.40% or 305 points to end at 9280 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 3.39% or 320 points to 9750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.12% or 4.3 points to trade at 381.3 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.03% or 0.01 points to end at 35.60 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 124.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 37 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.61% or 0.27 to $44.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $45.63 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.86% or 24.25 to trade at $1280.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.00% to 6.7456, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4413.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.95% at 97.86.
