Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.17% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 3.91% or 11.6 points to trade at 308.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 2.50% or 1.25 points to end at 51.35 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 2.35% or 15.0 points to 652.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 0.39% or 0.6 points to trade at 152.4 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 0.14% or 20 points to end at 14280 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was up 0.34% or 50 points to 14800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 118 to 46 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) rose to 3-year highs; up 3.91% or 11.6 to 308.0. Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.35% or 15.0 to 652.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.92% or 1.52 to $53.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.42% or 0.82 to hit $58.95 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.20 to trade at $1211.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.66% to 6.8881, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4723.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.73% at 97.91.
