Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 4.10% or 28.5 points to trade at 724.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 4.00% or 21.0 points to end at 545.5 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 2.34% or 7.1 points to 310.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which fell 1.30% or 180 points to trade at 13640 at the close. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) declined 1.07% or 3.5 points to end at 323.6 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was down 1.04% or 140 points to 13270.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 109 to 50 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.10% or 28.5 to 724.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.81% or 0.47 to $57.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.73% or 0.47 to hit $65.33 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.50% or 17.90 to trade at $1176.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.8608, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 97.05.
