Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 4.10% or 12.1 points to trade at 306.9 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 3.39% or 450 points to end at 13740 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 3.12% or 400 points to 13240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which fell 0.80% or 2.5 points to trade at 309.2 at the close. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) declined 0.79% or 1.1 points to end at 137.3 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was down 0.29% or 1.5 points to 517.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 57 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.71% or 0.42 to $58.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.06% or 0.70 to hit $65.46 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.62% or 7.40 to trade at $1181.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.49% to 6.6936, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4637.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.13.
