Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 9.16% or 2.98 points to trade at 35.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 3.62% or 8.9 points to end at 254.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 3.01% or 5.0 points to 171.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.00% or 2.7 points to trade at 266.1 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.08% or 0.1 points to end at 121.7 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.15% or 0.5 points to 324.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.29% or 0.13 to $45.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.47% or 0.22 to hit $46.62 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.41% or 5.55 to trade at $1356.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.7355, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4401.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 96.40.
