Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.77% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 3.20% or 5.9 points to trade at 190.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.58% or 8.4 points to end at 333.4 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.44% or 250 points to 10510 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 1.68% or 9.5 points to trade at 556.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.01% or 8.0 points to end at 788.0 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) was down 0.16% or 1.0 points to 635.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 61 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.75% or 0.79 to $44.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.18% or 0.56 to hit $47.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.49% or 16.50 to trade at $1087.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.42% to 6.9514, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4599.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.29% at 99.36.
