Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 1.87% or 6.1 points to trade at 332.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) added 1.81% or 11.0 points to end at 619.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 1.49% or 5.5 points to 373.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 1.08% or 0.53 points to trade at 48.59 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 1.07% or 140 points to end at 12980 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 0.89% or 120 points to 13390.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 74.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.87% or 6.1 to 332.7.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.15% or 0.09 to $60.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.71% or 0.47 to hit $66.33 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1227.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.5746, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4626.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.76% at 94.00.
