Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.20% or 35.0 points to trade at 707.5 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.16% or 320 points to end at 10440 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 3.15% or 310 points to 10150 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 1.81% or 3.4 points to trade at 184.8 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) declined 0.86% or 3.4 points to end at 393.6 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.13% or 1.0 points to 789.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 104 to 55 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.20% or 35.0 to 707.5.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.17% or 1.52 to $46.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.57% or 1.80 to hit $48.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.24% or 2.70 to trade at $1111.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.99% to 6.8711, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4596.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.83% at 98.05.
