Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.07% or 6.5 points to trade at 320.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.93% or 1.20 points to end at 63.30 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.27% or 10.5 points to 840.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.47% or 3.7 points to trade at 247.3 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.66% or 2.7 points to end at 406.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.59% or 3.0 points to 505.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 52 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.04% or 0.49 to $46.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.33% or 0.66 to hit $48.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.54% or 7.15 to trade at $1319.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.6772, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4442.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.50% at 96.01.
